Bucovina Innovation Alliance (BIA) is an NGO in Suceava County, Romania, accelerating sovereign innovation through collaboration between companies, universities, NGOs and public institutions.

What makes us different
BIA is a neutral convener.
We bring together companies, academia, civil society and institutions around shared goals, and we make sure each actor's effort strengthens the others.
We focus on long-term outcomes over short-term visibility, and on concrete action over announcements.

Why now
We are stronger together than apart. Yet our universities, companies and public institutions too often work in isolation. Schools and training programs struggle to keep pace with what a modern economy needs. Good ideas stall for lack of access to capital and to people who know how to raise it.
The opportunity has never been greater. European funding programs are investing in regional innovation. Remote work means world-class products can be built from here. Talent is mobile, and so are Bucovinians abroad who want to invest, mentor or come home. Regions that offer real opportunity attract it. The moment to organize is now.
